Dear friends,
Greetings !
Our city parks are a-buzz with Ottawans, and international visitors, taking full advantage of our Canadian brief, but intense summer. We are lucky to have so many beautiful parks by the rivers and lake, for large gatherings, for picnics and socializing.
ICCC Seniors' Annual Picnic is on the 20th July at the Andrew Haydon Park....Tickets $15/person. Let's participate in large numbers and make it a fun day, to remember.
I suggest we dress in green, saffron, red or white. The colours of our Indian and Canadian Flag...4 colours to choose from. Let's make it colourful.
We have witnessed here in Canada that each Season lives its full potential. The cold wet thawing Spring, The hot sunny Summer, cool Fall, and the long frigid Winters. Each Season has its own beauty, and challenges.
Weekly Program- Friday 12th July 2019
11:00-12:00......Yoga, by Girija Waghray
12:00-13:00......Lunch [ bring your own lunch, tea mug, and utensils, as Kitchen Remains Under Renovations ]
13:00-14:45......Socializing, Information Sharing, Interactive Brain Games.
14:45-1500......Clear-up and tidy-up with everyone's help
12:00-15:00......Bridge
Please Note: Before we leave at 15:00 hrs. we have to make sure we leave the rooms clean and tidy...at least, as tidy as we find them. Participants in each room are responsible for any mess in the room that they are in, and should ensure that the room is clean and tidy before leaving.
OR
Advise me on how to not feel Cranky when I end up sweeping and mopping the place, and removing the garbage, when everyone has left.
