Dear friend,

Greetings!

On Friday 8th February, we’ll celebrate Vasant Panchami. Let us do it with songs and dance, and come dressed in yellow attire.

What does Vasant mean to you and in general? Please come prepared to have a discussion.

Last Friday, it was mentioned that every 2nd Friday of the month, we’ll have a discussion on health topics of common interest. Please let me know what topics you wanted to be covered and we’ll try and arrange a speaker.

Secondly, if (heaven forbid) anyone falls sick, please let me know. Also, if you want the information to be shared with the group. If help is needed, we’ll make an effort to help in a constructive way, i.e. helping by doing some tasks, giving a ride, etc.

We should stand by each other in the hour of need.

Thirdly, on the last Friday of the month, when we celebrate birthdays, let us play games..e.g. musical chairs, antakshari, white elephant gift exchange, etc. So, for the last Friday of the month, if you have any new item, e.g. books, decorative item, or anything else you can think of, that you don’t need, bring it wrapped or bagged and do a gift exchange…any item that no one wants to take home can be donated.

11:00 – 12:00 …………… Yoga/Exercise led by Veena Sharma
12:30 – 13:30 …………… Potluck Lunch
13:30 – 14:45 …………… Socializing, singing, jokes and information sharing

14:15 – 14:45 …………… Tea
14:45 – 15:00 …………… Pack up and clean up with everyone’s help

12:00 – 15:00 …………… Bridge

Bala Ji will teach Bridge from 13:00 till 14:30….. PLEASE BE ON TIME.
