Dear Friends, Greetings!

Last Meeting Summary– February 14, 2019 (Courtesy – Mohan Pareek)

About 15 people attended and enjoyed sumptuous pot luck lunch. Vasent Panchmi and Valentine’s Day were celebrated.
Maya provided three significances of Vasent Panchmi:

Folklore suspect: Arrival of spring.

Spiritual: Worshipping Goddess Saraswati on this day.

Historical: It is a day Prathviraj Chouhan killed Mohamed. Gouri and later killed himself.

Mrs. Sahay recited poetry in glory of Saraswati. Mrs. Singh (Ravi) and Vijay Kapal sang songs.

Dr. Roy informed about Valentine’s Day. Dr. Chandra had a quiz about Valentine’s Day for the participants.

This Meeting – February 21, 2019: The details for this meeting are as follows:
