Last Meeting: May 14, 2020
About 15 people joined for this meeting. At this meeting we enjoyed songs, poetry recital, jokes, along with issues arising from COVID-19. Rama Chandran talked about the controversy regarding the origin of coronavirus, emphasizing that it does not seem to be a man-made virus. It has its origin in bats, but an intermediate host facilitated its jump to humans.
This Meeting: May 21, 2020
We will have our usual songs and poetry recital. Invariably, there will be some questions and discussion about how coronavirus could affect our lives in the months, and perhaps years, to come.
Ram Sahi will be making a presentation on the stimulus that the Govt. of India has proposed to deal with the potential economic impact of coronavirus.
Please let me know well in advance, if you would like to make a presentation on some topic of common interest.
