Dear Friends,

Greetings !!

Weekly Zoom Meetings (Thursdays and Fridays) will continue to keep us connected in 2021.

Please Note:
1. As of 1 January, there is New I.D and Password to Join in on Zoom,. The correct I.D and Password is included in the Information below on Thursday and the Friday Meetings, and in each and every weekly email that is sent. Please check the details before signing in.

2. ICCC Seniors is exploring the possibility of providing a Meals on Wheels type of service (at cost) for those who find it difficult to cook for themselves. Indian meals prepared by one or more licensed facilities will be delivered by volunteers. Recently, a survey email has been sent. Please respond to it, also forward it to anyone who you think may benefit from it.

3. ICCC Community Celebration - Virtual Event – 29th January 2021 (10:30-11:30 a.m.) ― This event will be held to felicitate Dr. Jagmohan Humar, C.M., Distinguished Research professor, Carleton University on his appointment as Member of the Order of Canada, one of the highest awards bestowed by the Government of Canada.
Program details and the ZOOM meeting link will be sent soon. R.S.V.P. By Friday, the 22nd January 2021.

4. ICCC Lohri / Pongal / Makar Sankranti Celebrations on Friday 15th January 2021

10:45 - 12:00.... Information Sharing, Poetry, Songs, Jokes, etc.
Dr. Virendra Bharti's Session will start right on time at 10:00 SHARP. So, Please log on 10 minutes before the session starts, in order to not miss any information from beginning of the session.

Presentation:
Mr. Ram Sahi will make a presentation on the Farm Bills that the Govt. of India has recently passed. It will include the background for this action and its justification. It will also discuss the concerns farmers have, and the possible resolution of the issues.
