Post by bbadmin »

Dear Friends,

Greetings!

Last Friday approximately 60 members attended the Zoom Meeting.

On this session focus of the "Yoga for Life Mantra" by Dr. Bharti, was on Gyan Marg and Bhakti Marg, and the importance of Correct Postures and Breathing Techniques, and Mudras, Acupressure, Ayurveda and Mantra.

Mr Narinder Garg gave us tips on the maintenance of Garage Doors and the importance of lubricating the Garage door hinges annually.

Dr. Indu Gambhir gave us an update on COVID-19, and how seniors are coping with the situation. Dr. Indu Gambhir highlighted the fact that the seniors in general are not taking care of their chronic Illnesses, and that there has been an increase in Strokes and Heart attacks. There has been increase in depression amongst seniors and increase in suicidal calls to the Helpline. Regarding vaccine against COVID-19, our Canadian Government is doing its own safety checks before approving vaccination of its citizens.

ICCC request that we all reach out and keep in touch with our neighbours, and seniors on a regular basis. Let no one suffer in isolation. Let us help each other pull through these challenging times.
