Dear Friends,
Greetings!

Please Note:
1 Buddy System: ICCC encourages everyone to form a Buddy System, whereby the 'Buddies will check on each other via text message or a short phone call, morning and evening, to see that they are safe and well. It is suggested that you share your emergency contact's name and phone number with each other and share your Buddy's name and phone number with your Emergency Contact person. Colder weather is here, and so is COVID-19 and the government imposed social restrictions. We are going to be spending more time alone at home than we did in the last few months when, the weather was pleasant and warm. Keeping in touch with friends and family on a daily basis is very important.
To ALERT! re fall, or to monitor a person living alone, services are available from Medical Alert, Telus, Bell, Rogers.
There are different combination of services and charges varie.
Each Senior should look at their own need, consult with family to decide what their needs are, particularly the seniors who live alone.
2. ICCC Diwali Celebration: ICCC will Celebrate Diwali (Virtually) On ZOOM:
WHEN: 12th of November (Thursday), 2020 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm
