Posted: Wed Jul 31, 2019 5:13 pm
Hello friends,
As most of you must be aware, we are running beginners computer classes for the seniors. The first edition consisting of 4 modules is coming to an end today.
The second edition has been planned for the 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th of August from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm at the Tanglewood Park Community Centre, 30 Woodfield Drive (off Merivale Road, one block north of Hunt Club Road).
We admit 20 participants in each class. We do have provision to accommodate a few more in the 2nd edition. Those interested may register ASAP either with our captain of Seminar and Workshops, Mr Narinder Garg at narindergarg47@gmail.com, or by writing to me at anilsukhija@gmail.com.
Please note that in case we have more than 20 names, then depending upon the order in which the names have been received, they will be waitlisted for the 3rd edition.
There will be a nominal charge of $5.00 per participant for a full edition of 4 modules.
Here are the details of 4 modules of a class:
Module #1 - Internet / Email and Google searching
Module #2 - Searching for Apps on Google Play / iStore and installing
them. Basics of using Whatsapp
Module #3 - Security on the Internet.
How to be aware of spam/phishing/scams/cyber fraud and identity theft.
Module #4 - Open Session and other items of interest.
We are planning another edition in the east end also in September. If you are interested in an east-end class, please register and mention your location preference.
Thanks.
