PURPOSE: Seniors meet weekly to i) come out of their normal living quarters, ii) socialize and mingle with other seniors in the community, and iii) enjoy organized activities and refreshments in an informal and friendly setting. Wellness is also promoted.

ACTIVITIES: Seniors play Bridge and other card games, chit chat, have group discussions on topics of interest to seniors and learn about services available for seniors in the community.

GENERAL AGENDA: As attendance grows, the activities will evolve over a period of time. Here’s a typical agenda for these meetings:
Mingling and socialization among the seniors attending
Invited lectures on topics of interest to seniors
Networking, Games, Brainstorming, Exercises
Book reading
Tea and Snacks
