Greetings!

Last Friday we listened to a presentation by Rachel Borzecki, Office Administrator & Senior Living Consultant at Solva Senior Living. Rachel gave us a lot to think about.

1. Do we want to retire at home, and if so:
a} What we need to do to make it possible
b}.Is it easy and safe to move around at home?
c}. Do we need to put sturdy hand rails for getting in/out of the bathtub, going up and down the stairs or get electric chair lift
d}. Do we have sufficient support system to make staying at home possible.

OR

2}. Do we want to to Retire in a Retirement Home or Long Term Care Facility.
Then the Questions arise:
a}. How much will it cost
b}. Can we afford it
c}. What level of care can we afford
d}. How long is the waiting list
e}. What level of care do the different institutions provide and at what cost.

12:15 – 13:00 ..…… Potluck Lunch
13:00 – 14:45……… Socializing, singing, jokes and information sharing
14:00 – 14:45 …..… Tea, celebrating March Birthdays – If your birthday falls in March, please come forward, and we will celebrate it together
14:45 – 15:00 ………. Pack up and Tidy up with everyone’s help
12:00 – 15:00 ………Bridge Bala Ji will teach Bridge from 13:00 till 14:30….PLEASE BE ON TIME.

Potluck Lunch menu is complete. A big thank you to all. We will sit and enjoy another Balanced and Nutritious meal together. Stay engaged in some physical and social activities, for Quality of Life and Healthy Aging.
