Dear Friends,

Greetings!

Last Friday, approximately 50 members joined in on the Zoom Virtual meeting. We have some new members join in to the Seniors group. Warm welcome to all. Its lovely to see everyone at these virtual meetings when COVID-19 related social distancing remain in force.

ICCC requests that you encourage your friends and family members to register and join the fold and help enrich own and each others' lives.

Please Note:

1] If you have not yet seen the webinar on 'Prevention of Dementia,' please watch it. It's very informative. The keynote speaker in the webinar episode-1 is Dr. Antoine Hakim, Neurologist at the Ottawa Hospital and also emeritus scientist of the University of Ottawa Brain and Mind Research Institute. 4] ICCC COVID-19 RELIEF FUND CAMPAIGN
To Date over $70,000 have been raised. A Big Thank You to All the Donors. Donation cheques have been presented to The Ottawa Hospital, The Shepherds of Good Hope, and The Ottawa Food Bank.
The Campaign is ongoing. Donations are trickling in. Our goal is to raise at least $100,000.

Donating to the COVID-19 Relief Fund is made easy. Just visit the website https://icccottawa.org and click on the link. Tax receipts will be issued at the end of the year by ICCC, for donations ($50 or more).

5] Face Masks
Face Masks are going to be part of our everyday life for the foreseeable future. A Big Thank You to All our Members who have been busy stitching these masks for the community. If you are in a position to volunteer or you are in need of Face Masks, please contact Mr. Anil Sukhija at chair@icccottawa.org or 613-791-7593.

7] YOGA CLASSES by Community Members
Try and attend as many of these yoga classes as you can. There are many benefits to daily yoga practice. Yoga makes you feel better. Yoga increases your flexibility. Yoga improves your strength. Yoga boosts your immune system. Yoga helps you to focus. Yoga changes your energy. Yoga boosts your metabolism. Yoga reduces anxiety.

Classes on Sunday and Wednesday are led by Premji.
Classes on Tuesday and Friday are led by Veena ji.
