2020-06-25 Virtual Event: Talk on Life After COVID-19

Dear friends,

It gives me great pleasure to invite you on behalf of the ICCC Speakers Forum to an online talk on June 25, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Our speaker is Nand Tandon and the title of his talk is Life After COVID-19.

Nand Tandon will talk about the likely economic impacts of COVID-19 in the ‘new normal’, whenever that normal comes. He will touch briefly upon selected topics, such as labour market, inflation, globalization and the effect on developing countries.

About the Speaker:

Nand Tandan pursued graduate studies at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, after obtaining a Master’s degree from Delhi School of Economics in India. From 1968 until his retirement, he worked as a senior researcher and project manager in various Federal Government departments, including Statistics Canada, Employment and Immigration, and Human Resources Development Canada. An active blogger on the Internet, Nand has discussed immigrant issues and challenges. He is an active member of several Indo-Canadian organizations.
