1. Joining the Meeting:

If you have not downloaded Zoom Meeting, then please do so well in advance of the meeting. Five minutes prior to the start of the meeting, open Zoom and join by providing meeting ID and the password.

2. ICCC is looking for volunteers to sew cloth masks, as personal protection against Coronavirus, for distribution where needed. Go to the ICCC website for details.

Also, you may let me know (call or email) if you would like to contribute to this effort by either donating your labour (sewing) or providing the material.

Last Meeting: April 16, 2020

About 15 people joined for this meeting. We had a lively panel discussion on balancing and the saving the economy and saving lives. Since it is a new virus, it is not known how it will behave (e.g. with respect to its mutations) in the near future, and the economy could be affected by such uncertainties. What would be an appropriate time for relaxing the current lockdown measures was also discussed.There were some songs and poetry recitals.

This Meeting: April 23, 2020

This meeting is dedicated to celebrating the Festival of Vaisakhi (which was on April 13. Members are requested to come prepared to recite Vaisakhi related poetry, jokes, songs, stories, etc). However, experts among our members will always be pleased to answer any questions you may have about Coronavirus.

Please let me know well in advance, if you would like to make a presentation on some topic of common interest.

4. Hindu Temple of Ottawa Carleton is now broadcasting some of its ceremonies. To access them you would need to download 'GoToMeeting' App.
