Dear Friends,

Greetings!

Approximately 50 members showed up on the Zoom meeting last Friday. That was very encouraging. More and more of us are getting the hang of this fairly new tool, to connect on our device from the comfort of our home, and be part of a large gathering, to share our views and concerns, to entertain and be entertained.

ICCC COVID-19 Relief Fund has taken off on a good start. Thanks to everyone who donated. The response has been generous and heart warming. But we have not reached our goal yet. So, if you have not donated yet, but have means to do so, please do not hesitate. Let's do this. Let us show that we care.

ICCC is also involved in the Face Mask Sewing Project. Many members have stepped forward and are coordinating the stitching and distribution of Cotton face masks to Hospitals, Seniors, and to others in dire need. We would like to compile a list of all volunteers who are sewing the masks, and of anyone who can provide the material for the face masks (densely woven cotton material and 1/8" wide elastic). If you can help in any way, please send me a text message at 613-869-0349.

10:00 - 10:30....Pranayam By Girija Waghray
10:30 - 12:00....Information Sharing, Songs, Poetry and Jokes. (Those who wish to perform, please come prepared with your item.)
Mr. Anil Sukhija will continue to Host and Coordinate the meetings.

Donations can be made via e-transfer to treasurer@icccottawa.org (preferred method) or by cheque made out in the name of Indo-Canadian Community Centre. Please indicate your choice of charity.
