ICCC COVID-19 Relief Fund

Dear Friends,

We hope you are all keeping safe and healthy in these challenging times. The COVID-19 pandemic is unfortunately impacting all of us, and it is in these times that we can also be of great support to one another, and especially to those in dire need.

The Indo-Canadian Community Centre (ICCC) has started the “ICCC COVID-19 RELIEF FUND” to raise funds for the organizations listed below in accordance with our charitable and philanthropic mandate. We request your help for this worthy cause. Several generous members have already reached out to us about making donations, and we encourage you to do the same.

CHARITIES:
1. The Ottawa Hospital
2. The Ottawa Food Bank
3. The Ottawa Mission
4. Shepherds of Good Hope

Donations can be made via e-transfer to treasurer@icccottawa.org (preferred method) or by cheque made out in the name of Indo-Canadian Community Centre. Please indicate your choice of charity. Our mailing address is:

Tax receipts will be issued by ICCC for donations ($50 or more).

Other options to help could include being generous with your time - this could include volunteering, only where it is safe and practical to do so in accordance with the advice of public health agencies. It can also be as simple as stitching face masks, keeping in touch with members of the community, friends and family through electronic communication, as we are all supports for each other at this time.
