Dear Friends, Greetings!

Announcements:

1. At this meeting there will be a presentation by Mahmood Iqbal on Income Inequalities.

2. Diwali celebration at Palki restaurant on Oct. 26, 2019 was a great success, with great music and excellent food. Under the leadership of Chandra, Orleans Seniors performed a walk-around with Divas in hand, dimmed lights, and enchanting background music. A bundle of thanks to those who provided the entertainment during the entire program, and to the organizers who made all this happen.

Last Meeting - Oct. 24, 2019: About 35 people attended this meeting and enjoyed the potluck lunch. Vinni presented briefings from his visit to the Food Bank, highlighting the great need that exists in the society and the best way we can help. Nand provided his perspective on the results of the recent federal elections. Diwali was celebrated by the recital of poems, jokes, and songs.
