Beginner's Computer Program for Seniors - 1st EDITION

Hello Friends,

ICCC Seniors is extremely pleased to announce "Beginners computer classes for our seniors."

We plan to start these classes from the month of July (Exact date will be announced later). The plan is to have these classes in the evenings from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM once a week. The class will be conducted by our Technical Captain, Mr. Piyush Gupta, and will be assisted by some volunteers, at Tanglewood Park Community Centre. Mr. Gupta has designed these 4 modules for one class:

Module #1 - Internet / Email and Google searching
Module #2 - Searching for Apps on Google Play / Apple Store and installing them and the basics of using Whatsapp
Module #3 - Security on the Internet. How to be aware of spam/phishing/scams/cyber fraud and identity theft.
Module #4 - Open Session and other items of interest. Bring your questions and we'll try to answer them. Questions have to be technology related and if possible, the members should email these to the committee comprising of core members in advance so that we are prepared to answer. This class can be extended to 2.5 or max 3 hours if required.

Depending upon the number of registrants, we may plan the number of classes accordingly as in one class we would prefer not to have more than 25 seniors.

Please note that there will be a nominal token charge of $5.00 per person for a class of 4 modules.
