2019-09-06 Tanglewood Park Seniors Group Meeting

Dear Friends,

Greetings!

As our grandchildren head back to school after the long summer break, and the Fall (as in The Season) comes rushing in, we settle down to the next routine, with a little more time on our hands.

Some of our members plan to head out to their winter residence in Florida to escape the harsh winter weather in Ottawa. Hurricane "Dorian" has been wreaking havoc in parts of Florida, our thoughts and prayers are with them as they wait to hear if their homes are safe.

Last Friday, at Tanglewood we celebrated many August Birthdays, and had our first Potluck Lunch after many weeks. That was fun!!

Weekly Program - Friday 6th September

11:00-12:00......Yoga (by Savita Bansal)
12:00-!3:00......Potluck Lunch
13:00-14:45......Tea, Socialization, Information Sharing, Songs/Jokes
14:45-15:00...... Cleanup and Clear up with everyone's help
12:00-15:00......Bridge: Bala Ji will Teach
12:00-13:00....Advance Level Topics
13:00-14:00....Beginner's Class

Potluck: If you are able and willing to participate in the making of the potluck lunch, please call me at 613-869-0349 so we can complete the menu.

1. Outing to Lac Phillippe on 11th September. 2/3 seats are still available if you are interested.
